Release specific information
Serviceguard Oracle toolkit A.05.01.12 is available as update. This update must be installed on
top of the Oracle toolkit version A.05.01.11 only. You must use the oracletkitupdate command
to upgrade to A.05.01.12.
The patch ID SGLX_00470 is for RHEL5, SGLX_00471 is for RHEL6, and SGLX_00472 is for
SLES11.

Known problems and workarounds
QXCR1001347551: Oracle restart feature is not handled with A.05.01.12 and Serviceguard
A.11.20.00.
Issue:
Oracle restart feature is not supported when Oracle DBs are configured to use ASM storage in a
Serviceguard cluster.
Description:
From Oracle 11gR2 onwards, Oracle grid infrastructure enables Oracle restart feature for all its
components by default. This causes the components managed by Oracle to restart automatically
upon failure on the same node. The Serviceguard Oracle toolkit does not support the Oracle restart
