General Serviceguard Setup Changes
Depending on the storage option chosen, the globally available directories need to be added to different
existing Serviceguard packages. The following installation steps require that the system has already been
configured to use the automounter feature. If this is not the case, refer to installation steps IS730 to IS770
found in Chapter 3 of this manual for setting up the automounter.
liveCache installation Step: GS250
For Storage Option 1:
liveCache installation Step: GS260
Distribute all configuration files from the sapnfs (or
dbci<APOSID>
,
db<APOSID>
) package directory to
the cluster nodes on which the package is able to run.
liveCache installation Step: GS270
Use
cmapplyconf
to add the newly configured package(s) to the cluster.
cmapplyconf -P
verifies the
Serviceguard package configuration, updates the binary
cmlconfig
file and distributes the binary file to
all cluster node
.
cmapplyconf -v -P ${SGCONF}/<LCSID>/lc<LCSID>
Use command cmrunpkg to run the Serviceguard package.
cmrunpkg lc<LCSID>
