Serviceguard for Linux Oracle Toolkit Version A.04.00 Release Notes
Compatibility Information and Installation Requirements
Chapter 112
For Modular style
The toolkit scripts will be installed in $SGROOT/oracletoolkit. This
directory is called Install directory. The user can copy these scripts to
a configuration directory and define this location in the parameter
TKIT_DIR in the package configuration file. Serviceguard by default
uses the toolkit scripts in the configuration directory. If the scripts
are not found in the configuration directory, SG takes them from the
install directory.
Configuration directory operation
6. Create a configuration directory for your package files called
$SGROOT/<config_dir>
7. Copy the Oracle Toolkit files from the install directory to the
configuration directory.
# cp $SGROOT/oracletoolkit/* $SGROOT/<config_dir>
NOTE For more information on creating Serviceguard package using the
modular method, please refer to the white paper Modular package
support in Serviceguard for Linux Toolkits located at
http://docs.hp.com -> High Availability -> Serviceguard for Linux
Toolkits->White papers.
8. Run the cmmakepkg command to generate a package configuration
file.
# cd $SGROOT/<config_dir>
# cmmakepkg -m tkit/oracle/oracle pkg.conf
9. Run the cmmakepkg command from any directory to generate a
package configuration file
# cmmakepkg -m tkit/oracle/oracle pkg.conf
