in a Serviceguard cluster on Linux (SG/LX) and integrate an Oracle database server with SG/LX.

What’s new in this version
This release of HP Serviceguard toolkit for Oracle includes the following enhancements:
Supports multiple listeners, User defined database services, and database hang detection.
Supports Oracle 11gR2 (with and without) ASM.
Supports database startup mode.

Installation
To install the RPM of HP Serviceguard toolkit for Oracle:
NOTE: The steps described here are applicable to both legacy and modular style packages.
1. Verify the RPM for the HP Serviceguard Toolkit for Oracle using the following command:
# rpm -qa |grep oracle-toolkit
2. To uninstall the HP Serviceguard toolkit for Oracle, run the following command:
# rpm -e <toolkit name retrieved after executing the #rpm qa | grep
oracle-toolkit>
3. Install the new RPM of HP Serviceguard Toolkit for Oracle on all the package nodes in the
cluster.
On Red Hat, run the following command:
# rpm -ivh
serviceguard-oracle-toolkit-A.05.01.00-00.redhat.noarch.rpm
