in a Serviceguard cluster on Linux (SG/LX) and integrate an Oracle database server with SG/LX.

What’s new in this version
This release of HP Serviceguard toolkit for Oracle includes the following enhancements:
• Supports multiple listeners, User defined database services, and database hang detection.
• Supports Oracle 11gR2 (with and without) ASM.
• Supports database startup mode.

Installation
To install the RPM of HP Serviceguard toolkit for Oracle:
NOTE: The steps described here are applicable to both legacy and modular style packages.
1. Verify the RPM for the HP Serviceguard Toolkit for Oracle using the following command:
# rpm -qa |grep oracle-toolkit
2. To uninstall the HP Serviceguard toolkit for Oracle, run the following command:
# rpm -e <toolkit name retrieved after executing the #rpm –qa | grep
oracle-toolkit>
3. Install the new RPM of HP Serviceguard Toolkit for Oracle on all the package nodes in the
cluster.
On Red Hat, run the following command:
# rpm -ivh
serviceguard-oracle-toolkit-A.05.01.00-00.redhat.noarch.rpm
