hadbhang.mon script to monitor the
Oracle instance for possible “hung”
state. The hadbhang.mon script in
turn uses hagetdbstatus.sh and
hatimeoutdbhang.sh scripts.
This script is used to check the
database status.

This script checks whether a process
with the specified PID exists. If the
hatimeoutdbhang.sh
process exists, then it kills the process
and exits.
This script is the interface between the
SG/LX package control script and the
HP Serviceguard toolkit for Oracle.
