An alternate subnet can be configured for
communication between nodes in a Serviceguard
cluster and the Quorum Server. This functionality
is currently supported by means of Serviceguard
patches with Serviceguard A.11.17 on HP-UX 11i
v2, and Serviceguard A.11.18 on HP-UX (11i v2
and 11i v3) and Linux. (See the Quorum Server
and Serviceguard release notes for information
about patches).
Note: with Quorum Server revisions prior to
A.03.00, and with earlier versions of Serviceguard
and versions without the patches, the cluster
configuration is limited to the original behavior with
a single IP address allowed for the Quorum
Server.
