Start the Serviceguard Apache toolkit package
CLI
Execute following command to start the cluster:
cmrunpkg apache_package
GUI (Serviceguard Manager)
Launch Serviceguard Manager from one of the nodes, Select the “apache_package”, go to the “Administration” menu and
select “Run Package”.
Verify the Apache toolkit package
CLI
Execute the following command to view the status of the cluster:
cmviewcl
CLUSTER
STATUS
apache_cluster
up
NODE
STATUS
STATE
Hnode
up
running
PACKAGE
STATUS
STATE
AUTO_RUN
NODE
apache_package
up
running
enabled

STATUS

Test that you can access the apache_package content from your browser at the following URL:
http://192.168.4.244:80/index.html
Try halting the package with the following command:
cmhaltpkg n hnode apache_package
Try starting the package on other node with the following command:
cmrunpkg n pnode apache_package
Test that you can access the apache_package content from your browser at the following URL:
http://192.168.4.244:80/index.html

to get the details on how to verify the “apache_package” using Serviceguard Manager.
Remove the VCS configuration and software
After verifying the Apache toolkit package, you can remove the VCS configuration and VCS software. Please refer to
“Uninstalling VCS” section of “Veritas™ Cluster Server Installation Guide” for Linux.
