Building Disaster Recovery Serviceguard Solutions Using Metrocluster with EMC SRDF

Using Serviceguard Manager
To configure a Metrocluster package using Serviceguard Manager:
1. Access one of the node’s System Management Home Page at http://<nodename>:2301.
Log in using the root user credentials of the node.
2. Click Tools, if Serviceguard is installed, one of the widgets will have Serviceguard as an
option. Click the Serviceguard Manager link within the widget.
3. On the Cluster’s Home Page, click the Configuration tab and then select Create A Modular
Package option.

4. If the product Metrocluster with EMC SRDF is installed, you are prompted to configure a
Metrocluster package. Select the dts/mcsrdf module, and then click Next.

5. You are prompted next to include any other toolkit modules. In case your application being
configured requires a Serviceguard toolkit, select the appropriate toolkit, otherwise move to
the next screen.
6. Enter the package name and then click Next. Metrocluster packages can be configured only
as failover packages. Ensure that this option is selected as shown in Figure 10.
