Metrocluster with EMC SRDF Version A.05.01 Release Notes (5900-1102), August 2010

JAGaf05349 Problem: Metrocluster/SRDF package fails to startup on the R2
side if the background split is in progress when performing
R1/R2 swap.
Resolution: The problem is fixed in this version. The functionality
of Metrocluster/SRDF has been enhanced to allow package
startup to be enforced. A new value has been introduced for the
environment variable AUTOSWAPR2. It can now be set to 2, to
indicate that package needs to be automatically started in spite
of R1/R2 swap failure.
QXCR1001027845 Problem: The Solutions Enabler versions currently supported by
Metrocluster with SRDF A.05.01 on HP-UX 11i v1 viz. 6.2 and
6.3 are already out of support. Customers using Metrocluster
A.05.01 could not upgrade their Solutions Enabler to versions
7.0 or later because of the restrictions imposed by Metrocluster.
Resolution: This problem is fixed in this patch. Metrocluster/SRDF
now uses a later version of SYMAPI to make the product
compatible to Solutions Enabler 7.0 and higher.
