This capacity can be used for Site Controller packages and failover packages configured
in a Metrocluster with sites defined in the Serviceguard cluster configuration file.

IMPORTANT: Manual Site Switching feature is supported only with HP Serviceguard
Version A.11.20, only when the PHSS_41225 patch (for HP-UX 11i v3) is installed.
Support for Oracle RAC ASM
Starting with this version, Oracle RAC database using Automatic Storage Management
(ASM) can be configured in Metrocluster for RAC.
Following are the restrictions that apply to configuring Oracle RAC database using
ASM in Metrocluster for RAC:
• The ASM disk group must be configured with a multi-node package using SGeRAC
toolkit. This ASM disk group MNP package must be configured to have a package
dependency on the CRS MNP package to be up on the same node.
• The RAC database MNP package must be configured to have a package dependency
on the ASM disk group MNP package and CRS MNP package to be up on the
same node.

Support for Oracle 11gR2
Starting with this version, Metrocluster supports Oracle 11gR2 single instance database
configured using Oracle ECM Toolkit. For more information on configuring Oracle
