for Serviceguard customers requiring integrated disaster recovery solutions.
Metrocluster with Continuous Access XP provides automated re-configuration of HP
StorageWorks Disk Array XP Series, using Continuous Access XP.
Metrocluster with Continuous Access XP Version A.11.00 is being released on HP-UX
11i v2 and HP-UX 11i v3 with the following product number:
B8109CA - license, media, and documentation
Integrating Metrocluster with Continuous Access XP with Serviceguard allows
application packages to fail over:
among local nodes that are attached to the same XP series array.
between one system that is attached locally to its XP frame and another remote
node that is attached locally to the other XP frame.
Since Metrocluster configurations may be complex to configure and maintain, it is
strongly recommended to use Hewlett-Packard’s high availability consulting services
to ensure a smooth installation and rollout. Contact your HP representative to inquire
about high availability consulting. In addition, it is recommended you work with your
HP representative to ensure that you have the latest firmware revisions for disk drives,
