Compatibility and Installation Requirements

MC/ServiceGuard now supports up to 16 node cluster. MC/ServiceGuard Toolkit should be

used under 16 nodes cluster.

Data disks associated with MC/ServiceGuard NFS package must be external disks. All

servers that support the MC/ServiceGuard NFS package must have access to the external

disks, meaning the disks must be attached to a shared bus connected to all servers supporting

the package.

OS Platform and Version Compatibility

MC/ServiceGuard and MC/ServiceGuard NFS Toolkit are available only on HP 9000 series

800 servers.

MC/ServiceGuard NFS Toolkit version A.11.00.05 is supported only on HP-UX 11.0.

MC/ServiceGuard NFS Toolkit version A.11.11.02 is supported only on HP-UX 11.11.

Disk and Memory Requirements

Installing MC/ServiceGuard NFS Toolkit requires 55 Kbytes of disk space.
