For details, see the cmeasymigrate(1m) man page and the white paper “Migrating Packages
from Legacy Style to Modular Style” available at http://www.hp.com/go/

New commands (and equivalent capabilities on Serviceguard Manager) provide a quick and
easy way to configure and deploy a Serviceguard cluster.
New Serviceguard Manager capabilities.
The new Live Application Detach (LAD) capability in Serviceguard allows a package's
applications to remain running (unmonitored) while you do maintenance on the node or cluster
on which the package is running.
NOTE: This capability is supported with modular packages in SG SMS bundles T2771DB,
T2773DB, and T2774DB only - it is not supported with legacy packages, CVM, CFS or
SGeRAC. For more information, see Managing Serviceguard Eighteenth Edition at:
www.hp.com/go/hpux-serviceguard-docs HP Serviceguard
A new type of device file allows you to deploy a set of persistent device special files that is
consistent across the cluster, eliminating to risk of name-space collisions amongst the cluster
nodes. These new device special files are called cluster device special files or cDSFs.
NOTE: cDSFs can not be used in VxVM or CVM disk groups.
