Known Problems with Veritas Storage Foundation 5.0.1 for Oracle Administrator’s
Guide
Known problems include:
• What is the problem? “VVR” is referenced in several locations in this Administrator's guide.
What is the workaround? VVR is not available in HP Serviceguard Storage Management Suite
Version A.03.02.
• What is the problem? Pages 130, 134, and 136 do not include correct file names for the
Oracle Disk Manager library files on HP Integrity systems. The file names with “.so” extensions
are correct for HP 9000 (PA-RISC based) systems.
What is the workaround? For HP Integrity systems, use:
◦ “ libodm9.so” instead of “libodm9.sl”
◦ “libodmd9.so” instead of “libodmd9.sl”
◦ “libodm10.so” instead of “libodm10.sl”
Software Availability in Native Languages
The HP Serviceguard Storage Management Suite Version A.03.02 does not provide Native
Language Support. The documentation media provides a complete set of documentation in English.
Individual products included in the HP Serviceguard Storage Management Suite bundles may
provide Native Language Support. See the individual product release notes for availability.
