• Install as an independent product.
Run the swinstall to select the following toolkit product number:
— T2259AA on HP-UX 11i v2 or HP-UX 11i v3
• Install with HP Serviceguard Toolkit for Oracle Data Guard bundle or with the High
Availability Operating Environment (HA OE) or Data Center Operating Environment (DC
OE).
• Install as a depot from http://www.software.hp.com
After installing this toolkit, run the swlist command to determine if the toolkit installation is
successful. If the toolkit is installed, you will see the following output:

After installing, you must set up this toolkit in your environment. For information on setting up
the toolkit, see the README file that is available in the /opt/cmcluster/toolkit/dataguard
directory.
Directories Created After Installation
After the HP Serviceguard Toolkit for Oracle Data Guard is installed, a directory, /opt/
cmcluster/toolkit/dataguard is created. This directory includes the toolkit scripts and
the README file. Additional scripts are installed in the /etc/cmcluster/scripts/tkit/
dataguard and /etc/cmcluster/modules/tkit/dataguard directories.
Table 1-1 (page 6) lists the files created on installation of HP Serviceguard Toolkit for Oracle
Data Guard.
