Version: 3.4 Description HP P6000 SmartStart (formerly HP StorageWorks SmartStart EVA Storage) is an application that helps you install software programs and configure an HP 4400 Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA4400) storage system, HP P6300 Enterprise Virtual Array (P6300 EVA), or HP P6500 Enterprise Virtual Array (P6500 EVA). HP P6000 Command View 9.4 is included in HP P6000 SmartStart 3.4. These release notes contain information specific to HP P6000 SmartStart 3.4.

No administrator rights error for member of Administrators group HP P6000 SmartStart reports an error indicating that although the current user is a member of the Administrators group on the local machine, he does not have sufficient privileges to continue. For example: Your account does not have sufficient access to create the necessary credentials. Please login as an administrator and try again.

Javascript error message After using HP P6000 SmartStart to install HP P6000 Command View, a Javascript error messages can appear when you attempt to run HP P6000 Command View. This can occur if your browser is not configured correctly.

If you have issues running HP P6000 SmartStart for Linux or if HP P6000 SmartStart for Linux crashes, ensure that no FCoE packages are installed. P6000 SmartStart does not discover new HBA in application or management server When a new HBA is installed in the application or management server, the driver for that HBA may not already be installed the operating system. Make sure to use the Proliant Support Pack to reinstall the HBA drivers, or follow your vendor's guidelines.
