HP StorageWorks Fabric Manager v5.3.0a release notes (AA-RWFGA-TE, October 2007)

Workaround: Delete switches with the missing status and refresh the fabric.
You need to take a new baseline for Change Management to avoid notications
regarding ISL changes in the fabric after the missing switch is removed from Fabric
Manager.
XPath OS Meta SAN
s
In an XPath OS meta SAN environment with 1500 LSAN zones or more, Fabric Manager
might fail to retrieve LSAN information. When you launch FCR Info view for a large meta
SAN, F abric Manager might show an error if the LSAN information cannot be retrieved.
Workaround: Use the CLI commands lsanzoneshow, fcrproxydevshow, and
fcrphydevshow
to view the LSAN information.
Fabric OS 3.x upgrade/downgrade
When using Fabric Manager 5.3.0a to upgrade or downgrade to version 3.x rmware
on an applicable switch, the rmware download is indicated as "Failed" in Firmware
Management, but it is actually successful as conrmed by telnet. However, Fabric
Manager does properly display the correct downloaded Fabric OS version for the switch.
Uninstalling Fabric Manager
After uninstalling Fabric Manager, please check if the Fabric Ma nager installation folder
still exists on the host. If it still exists, then manually delete it.
