Policies - The Policies tab lets you create utilization polices, which can send an e-mail,
generate an event, or run a custom script when a set threshold for an element is triggered.
All of the tabs may not be visible in one of the following instances:
The management server has discovered the application but it cannot obtain additional
information about the application.
The application is a virtual application, which is a placeholder in the topology for applications
the management server cannot monitor.
The element was created when you created a record.
Events for Applications
The Events page view displays the following information about events associated with the
application and its dependent elements:
ID - The identifier assigned to the event
Severity - Provides the severity level.
Time - The time the event was recorded.
Summary Text - A brief explanation of the event. To learn more about an event, click the link
for the summary text.
The following table provides an overview of the severity levels.
To view more information about an event, click the link in its summary text. After you click the link,
the Event Details pane provides information on one or more of the following:
Serial Number - The number assigned to the event
Summary Text - A brief explanation of the event

Event was marked cleared.
The severity of the event is not known.
The event is informational.
The event might have some impact.
The event has a minor impact.
The event has a major impact.
The event has a critical impact.
