Software Requirements
To find the software requirements for the management server and for the elements you plan to
discover, refer to the support matrix (SupportMatrix.html), which can be found on the top-level
of the management server CD-ROM.
Web Browser Configuration Requirements
Before you can use the management server, verify the following are enabled on your Web browser:
cookies
JavaScript
Java
You can verify these settings by doing the following:
Microsoft Internet Explorer - Go to the Internet Options window by selecting Tools >
Internet Options.
To verify if cookies are enabled - Click the Privacy tab. This setting requires a medium or
lower security setting.
To verify if Java is enabled - Click the Advanced tab. Under the Sun setting, verify that
the option, Use JRE <version number> is selected.
Netscape - Go to the Preferences window by selecting Edit > Preferences in Netscape.
To verify if cookies are enabled - Expand the Privacy & Security category, and then
click Cookies.
To verify if Java is enabled - Click Advanced.
