Command MONITOR START
Description The configured failover target starts monitoring the source machine that was designated as the
monitor.
Syntax
MONITOR START <monitor> [ON <target_machine>]
Options monitor—Name of the source machine designated as the monitor
target_machine—Name of the target machine that will be monitoring the source machine
Examples
monitor start indy on jersey
Notes Machine names that contain non-alphanumeric characters must be enclosed in quotation marks.
Command MONITOR STOP
Description Stops monitoring the source machine for a failure
Syntax
MONITOR STOP <monitor> [ON <target_machine>]
Options monitor—Name of the source machine designated as the monitor
target_machine—Name of the target machine that will no longer be monitoring the source
machine
Examples
