4. Modify any of the options under Messages and Alerts, if necessary.
Maximum Length—Specify the maximum length of the log file. The default
size is 1048576 bytes and is limited by the available hard drive space.
Maximum Files—Specify the maximum number of log files that are
maintained. The default is 5 and the maximum is 999.
Note:
If you change the Maximum Length or Maximum Files, you must restart
the Storage Mirroring service for the change to take effect.
5. Click OK to save the changes.
Storage Mirroring Recover log messages
The following table describes some of the standard Storage Mirroring Recover alerts that
may be displayed in the log files.
Note:
In the following table, con_id refers to the unique connection ID assigned to
each connection between a source replication set and a target.

Undo the changes to the replication set
Stop and restart Storage Mirroring Recover
Reboot the server
