password /verbose (Modifies all resource records on the specified DNS server that match the
source criteria, using the username and password to connect to the DNS server)
 dfo /dnssrvname gamma.domain.com /srcname alpha.domain.com /srcip

/verbose (Fails back all resource records on the specified DNS server that were changed on
failover)
 dfo /setpassword domain.com\admin password (Stores the user name and password in
an encrypted file)

NOTE: If the DNS server is running Windows 2000, you must have the DNS Windows Management
Instrumentation (WMI) Provider installed on the source’s primary DNS server to allow the DFO to modify
DNS resource records during failover. You can download the DNS WMI Provider from
ftp.microsoft.com/reskit/win2000/dnsprov.zip.
