HP P6000 Replication Solutions Manager Administrator Guide (T3680-96069, June 2012)

Select the Replicate option on the GUI to launch the Wizard. A window opens that allows you to
select the host volumes to replicate and the replication type: snapshot, snapclone, preallocated
snapshot, preallocated snapclone, or fractured mirrorclone.
Starting the replication manager GUI
You can start the replication manager GUI from:
A desktop icon
Use this method if you logged on to the management server directly or through Terminal
Services. Do not browse to the software from the management server.
A browser on a remote PC
You must have supported Java Runtime Environments (JREs) installed on remote computers.
If you are running HP Replication Solutions Manager 3.0 or later, you can download
and install the JRE from the Java website at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/
index.html.
If you are running HP Replication Solutions Manager 2.0 or earlier, see the JRE Server
CD for a list of supported versions, which can be downloaded directly from the CD. The
procedure varies slightly if the replication manager is on an HP OpenView Storage
Management Appliance.
Other applications [see “From another application” (page 19)]
