HP P6000 Replication Solutions Manager Administrator Guide (T3680-96069, June 2012)

0c1e5f0c: Severity: Critical failure or failure imminent. The members
of the specified Source Data Replication Group have not been presented
to the host because the remote Storage System is not accessible.
One instance of application mode is supported
If you are using the replication manager in application mode, you can open only one instance of
the replication manager GUI. If you click the replication manager desktop icon, and the No
context defined error message appears, verify that you are not already running another
instance of the replication manager GUI in application mode.
If there are no other instances open, check for port conflicts.
NOTE: The one-instance restriction applies to application mode only. If you are using the
replication manager in applet mode, a maximum of eight instances (both GUI and CLUI) is allowed.
Replication manager limitation when arrays have the same name
The replication manager does not perform certain HP P6000 Continuous Access operations when
the source and destination arrays have the same name. For example, when attempting to fail over
a DR group pair, the replication manager may log the following message:
Skipping DR group \\hsv07\dr group 1. This group is not eligible for
failover for job Failover_1124991160125
The limitation applies to using the replication manager GUI, a job, and the CLUI.
HP does not support using the replication manager with HP P6000 Continuous Access when the
source and destination arrays have the same name. The replication manager uses UNC to identify
storage resources. When array names are the same, some operations cannot be performed because
the replication manager cannot distinguish between the arrays.
To resolve this problem, assign each array a unique name. In cases where source and destination
arrays have the same name, use HP P6000 Command View to perform HP P6000 Continuous
Access operations.
IMPORTANT: If you rename an array, ensure that affected replication manager jobs and CLUI
scripts are updated to reflect the new name.
Installation termination
During installation, the following error message is displayed and the installation terminates:
To prevent this error, setup.jar and media.inf must be in the same directory as the
setup*.exe file.
Aborting HP P6000 DC-Management jobs creates inconsistent policy state
Do not abort HP P6000 DC-Management jobs. Doing so results in an inconsistent policy state
and in jobs not being triggered for the same host volume. If you abort the job and no new HP
P6000 DC-Management jobs are triggered for that host volume, even after reaching the threshold,
perform these steps:
