• Oracle application integration. You can discover Oracle resources on enabled hosts and replicate
Oracle dat
abases and tablespaces.
• Host agent support. Support for the HP OpenVMS host agent is added.
• Operating system support. Support for Sun Solaris 10, Microsoft Windows 2003 x64, SuSE
Linux SLE
S932–bit,SuSELinuxSLES9x64,RedHatLinux4.032–bit,RedHatLinux4.0x64,
and H P-UX 11.23 PI PA-RISC is added.
• Multipathing support. Support for VERITAS DMP on Solaris hosts is added.

lication. Support for three-phase fully allocated snapshots and 16 snapshots per source
virtual disk is added.
• Simulation mode . Use the replication m anager’s bu ilt-in simulation mode for evaluations, testing,
and trai
ning.
• CLUI enhancements. Create virtual disks using the CLUI.
• User preferences.Configure the GUI to remember list and tree view preferences.

plates. All job templates now include an option for e-mail notification. New job templates
have been added.

ty. Replication ma nag er logon security for server software and host agents is now
authenticated using the host operating system.
• Performance improvements.Theefficiency and speed of job templates has been improved.

ity-based licensing notification. The replication manager now reports and enforces HP
replication license policies.
• Storage manager access. Select an array or virtual disk and view the resource in the HP
Command View EVA user interface.

• System access. Start the replication manager from HP Systems Insight Manager and System
