3.7.0 HP StorageWorks HP Scalable NAS File Serving Software installation guide HP Scalable NAS for Linux (AG513-96004, October 2009)

If you will be using Linux Device Mapper Multipath, it should be installed and
configured after installing HP Scalable NAS. See Appendix C, page 67, for more
information.
If you will be using other third-party MPIO software, install it now according to
the product documentation. After the MPIO software is installed, verify that it can
see the LUNs on the storage array. Also check the HP PolyServe Software
Manuals web page for any articles about your MPIO software. See HP Scalable
NAS documentation, page 13.
If your MPIO software requires that you build a kernel module, see Appendix
B, page 61, for more information.
If you plan to use the failover feature provided with the QLogic HBA driver, it
should be enabled in step 12 of this procedure.
See the HP Scalable NAS File Serving Software administration guide for more
information about the MPIO support provided with HP Scalable NAS.
8. Install the iSCSI initiator (optional)
Install the iSCSI Initiator on each server according to the product documentation. Be
sure to configure the Initiator to start automatically on boot and stop on shutdown.
This can be done by editing the iscsi init scripts with the chkconfig(8) command.
Also verify that the initiator has logged into the iSCSI targets.
See the compatibility matrix at the following location for the supported iSCSI storage
and software.
