HP StorageWorks 4400 Scalable NAS for File Serving cluster configuration guide (AN595-96010, October 2009)

Command View on ABM
Command View runs on the Array Based Management Module (ABM), which is part
of the EVA 4400 controller. The ABM is configured at the factory with IP address
172.31.0.20 and can be accessed from a browser or one of the cluster servers at:
htttps://172.31.0.20:2372/
Login as Administrator and use hpinvent as the password.
For convenience, the ABM can be transferred from the private VLAN2 to public
VLAN1. To do this, complete the following steps:
1. Use the web interface specified above to change the IP address and netmask
of the ABM to an address on your network.
2. Move the ABM network connection from port 6 on the ProCurve switch to port
10 on the switch.
3. Using the Storage Settings tab on the HP CFS Configure Cluster GUI, change
the EVA configuration setting to allow snapshots to work. To open the GUI, select
Start > Programs > HP Clustered File System > CFS Management Console. On
the HP Clustered File System Connect window that appears next, type the IP
address or host name of your server in the Connect to field. Then click the
down-arrow on the Connect button. You will see two options: Connect and
Configure. Click Configure. For more information, see Configure the Cluster
in the HP StorageWorks Clustered File System 3.6.1 for Windows installation
guide.
Filesystems
The initial cluster configuration includes three PSFS cluster filesystems. The filesystems
are mounted at C:\psfs001, C:\psfs002, and C:\psfs003.
The HP CFS Management Console shows the filesystem configuration:
Right-click on a filesystem and select Properties to see the block size and other
configuration options used for the filesystem.
Click Storage on the HP CFS Management Console toolbar to see information
about each filesystem, including its mount point, the volume used for the filesystem,
and its capacity.
Add new filesystems
Use the following procedure to add a new filesystem to the cluster.
