Hardware snapshots
HP Clustered File System is configured to take hardware snapshots or snapclones on
the EVA 4400 array. For more information, see Manage Hardware Snapshots in
the HP Clustered File System administration guide.
Stand-alone version of HP CFS Management Console
The HP CFS Management Console is available in a stand-alone version that can be
installed on an Windows system outside the cluster. The console file is provided on
the cluster servers at:
C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP Clustered File
System\Management Console\MXCONSOLE.MSI
System requirements for the stand-alone console
Systems used for the stand-alone HP CFS Management Console must meet the
following requirements:
Pentium-compatible processor or later
64 MB of memory
Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows 2003
Install and start the stand-alone console
Copy the console file (MXCONSOLE.MSI) to the system and then double-click on the
file to install the console software.
To start the console, select Start > Programs > HP Clustered File System > CFS
Management Console.
