HP P6000 Command View 9.4 Release Notes (T5494-96472, October 2011)

HP SSSU does not create an FCoE host with HP-UX
The HP P6000 Command View GUI enables you to create an FCoE host with operating system type
as HPUX. However, HP SSSU does not support this operation.
HP SSSU may hang when using long commands on Solaris
When using long commands on Solaris, the HP SSSU process may hang. This is a result of how Solaris
handles long commands.
The ADD MULTISNAP command creates write-protected snapshots and snapclones
By default, the ADD MULTISNAP command creates write-protected snapshots and snapclones. (By
default, the ADD COPY and ADD SNAPSHOT commands create write-enabled snapshots and
snapclones.) Before you present a snapshot or snapclone that was created using the ADD MULTISNAP
command, use the SET VDISK command and set the NOWRITE_PROTECT option to False if the
operating system does not allow you to mount volumes using the snapshot or snapclone.
Accessing the HP Storage System Scripting Utility
The latest versions of HP SSSU are on the HP P6000 Command View software CD.
