2Conﬁguration

This chapter lists required hardware and software components and explains how to

conﬁgure the disk array and Windows 2003 servers for use with HP Hardware Providers

(HWP). Y ou must complete the procedures in this chapter before you install HP HWP.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The right combination of sof tware versions is crucial to conﬁguring a

working system. Refer to the README ﬁles a ccom panying the HP H WP installation ﬁles

for information about compatible software versions and system conﬁgurations.
