HP StorageWorks Storage System Scripting Utilit y (hereafter called the utility) is a command line interface
that allows you to congure and control EVA arrays. Use the utility to script and run re petitious and
complex conguration tasks. Use HP StorageWorks Command View EVA, the g raphical user interface,
forsimpleorinitialconguration tasks

NOTE:
The CAPTURE CONFIGURATION command is the only way to capture, save, and recreate a storage
system’s conguration. After you have successfully created a storage system, use the CAPTURE
CONFIGURATION command to create scripts that you can use to recreate a storage sy stem in the event
offailureortocreateanexactreplica.
NOTE:
Although this guide shows commands spanning more than one line, always enter the command
on one line.
