LS
NOTE:
With this versio
n of the utility, the LS commands have replaced the SHOW commands. The SHOW
commands are still available; however, they are deprecated.
The LS commands display information about various devices in the currently selected array. If you specify
the name of an object, the LS command will display detailed information on the object.
The following object types are available for all of the LS commands (except where indicated):
CONTAINER, CONTROLLER, DISK, DISK_GROUP, DISKSHELF, DR_GROUP, FOLDER, HOST, LUN,
SYSTEM,VDISK,MANAGER,OPTIONS,SNAPSHOT,TIME,ANDWORLD_WIDE_NAME..
The following list shows how you can use the LS command:
LS <object t ype> FULL
Lists all the information available for all the o bjects of that type.
LS <object type> FULL XML
Lists all the information available for all the objects of that type in XML format.
LS <object type> NOFULL (This is the default and is a no-operation switch.)
LS <object type> <object name>XML displays the output in extensible markup language (XML) .
Examples
Example 1
LS VDISK FULL
This example provides all information about all virtual disks.
Example 2
LS VDISK <name>
This example displays all the properties of a particular disk.
LS CABINET
Use the LS CABINET command to display information about the cabinets in the currently selected array.
Syntax
LS CABINET <cabinet name>
LS CONTAINER
Use the LS CONTAINER command to display information for the containers available on the currently
selected array.
Syntax
LS CONTAINER <container name>
LS CONTROLLER
Use the LS CONTROLLER command to display disk congu ration information for the controllers connected
to the currently selected array.
