Upgrade installation
If you are upgrading from a previous version of H WP, before doing the installation
procedure that follows, uninstall the previous version of HWP as explained on the
following page.

• Run the HWP installation executable(s):
hp Storag
eWorks VDS hardware provider for EVA.msi
hp Storag
eWorks VSS hardware provider for EVA.msi
• Follow the InstallShield Wizard instructions to do the following tasks.
• Acc ept the license terms.
• Install
the HP HWPs in the default or custom folder location.
• Verify installation by checking Windows Control Panel Add/Remove Programs
• Enter the CV workstation IP address and log into Command View EVA.
• Connec
ttothediskarray.
• Sele ct the disk group you created for VSS copies.
