HP P6000 Command View
This section contains information about the enhancements, fixes, licenses, compatibility and
interoperability, and workarounds and limitations for HP P6000 Command View 10.0.
Enhancements
• HP P6000 Performance Advisor. HP P6000 Performance Advisor is now included in the HP P6000
Command View suite. A license is required to activate the software feature.
• Single-Pane-of-Glass. The Single-Pane-of-Glass interface is included with HP P6000 Command
View.
• Single Sign-On. New automatic and administrator controlled single sign-on are added.
• Tree integrator settings. Tree Integrator settings are added for use with the resource navigation
trees displayed in the Single-Pane-of-Glass interface.
• Manage OS security groups wizard. New wizard enables you to add LDAP security domains to
a machine and map LDAP security domains to Management Integration Framework roles.
• Browser support. Support is added for Microsoft Internet Explorer 9.0 and FireFox 4.0
• Failover during normalization. A failover can now be performed even when a full copy is in
progress.
• New licensing features:
Text entered when adding a license is checked for validity and an appropriate error is
displayed if the text is invalid.

◦ When adding an upgrade license, a check is now made to determine if a permanent unlimited
license is available for the earlier model. If it is not, a warning message is displayed.
◦ The licensing page no longer displays temporary licenses if a valid permanent license is
installed for the array.
• HP P6000 EVA simulator enhancements:
Enables you to discover and monitor simulated storage systems in HP P6000 Performance
Advisor.

◦ Enables you to load real EVA configurations into the simulator.
◦ Provides the ability to configure initialized arrays in XML.
