1Overview

HP StorageWorks Replication Solutions Manag er (called the replication m anag er) is a single, centralized

management tool that simpliﬁes and automates local and remote replication on suppor ted storage

arrays. The HP Replication Solutions Manager Command Line User Interface (CLUI) is installed with the

replication m anager and allows you to perform local and remote replication using single commands and

scripts. This chapter explains how to access the CLUI.

Using the graphical user interface

1. Launch the HP Replication Solutions Manager graphical user interface.

2. Select Tools > Command Line User Interface.

The Command Line User Interface window appears. You can enter c ommands in the text box. Results

from commands appear below the text box.

Using a telnet session

1. Open a command window.

2. Enter t

elnet <management_server_name><port_number>.

The def

ault port number is 9000.

3. Log in with the HP Replication Solutions Manager user n ame and password.

The Command Line User Interface prompt appears.
