General Parameters
In most Remo
te
Web Console windows, if you change a value, the text color of that value
changes to blue or the icon changes, but the changes are not implemented until you click
Apply. Table 7 on page 30 describes the text colors and font types displayed on the Remote
Web Console windows.
You can cre
ate and store up to 20,000 settings or operations before actually applying them to
the
storage system. To avoid a possible error, do not apply m ore than 2 0,000 settings at a time.
ThelayoutofaRemote WebConsole window is reset whenyou click Apply, Cancel, Refresh
(
), or Refresh All ( )onthe File menu, or when you switch tabs.
When you click Refresh All (
)onthe File menu, the information on the SVP is also updated.
Therefore, the processing caused by Refresh All (
)onthe File menu can takesometime.
If there is a difference between the conguration information displayed on the Remote Web
Console and the actual c onguration information that can be recognized from the host, the
conguration information displayed on the Remote Web Console can be updated by clicking
Refresh All (

temporarily delayed.
If you request a change to the storage system conguration while ano ther change is being made,
an
error message is displayed.
If the error occurs while you are logging in or clicking Ap ply to implem ent changes, wait for a
few minutes, and then retry the o p eration.
If the error occurs while you are either switching between Modify mode and View mode or
s
witching tabs, wait for a few minutes, click Refresh (
)on the File menu, and then retry
the
