The Login Message window has the following features:

• Login Message

You can e

nter alphanumeric characters (ASCII codes) a nd some symbols. You can enter up to

2,408 letters. The message that you enter in this text box will be displayed in the Remote Web

Console log in window.

• The Appl

y button

applies all the changes or settings made. This b utton is not available in the

View

mode.

• The Cancel button cancels the changes or settings. This button is not available in the View mode.

Syslog Window

The Syslog window allows you to conﬁgure syslog servers or download a syslog information ﬁle. The

operations that can be performed in the Syslog window differ depending on the operation authority

that is set for the a cc ount administrator role. For the procedure in the Syslog window, see the HP

StorageWorks XP24000 Audit Log User and Reference Guide.

To open the Syslog window, log in to the Remote Web Console, and then click Go, Sec urity and Syslog

on the menu bar of the Remote Web Console main window.

Note:

Any storage partition administrator cannot display the Syslog window.
