Controller Configuration with NetWare
StorageWorks Command Console (SWCC) provides a graphical user interface
that can be used to configure and monitor your storage system. There is no Agent
for the NetWare server (see second bullet below). Solution Software V8.8-1 for
NetWare no longer provides SWCC but the controller can be configured in other
ways. There are three options available for configuring HSG80 controllers on
NetWare:
■ Access the CLI utility through the serial port and execute CLI commands
needed for configuration. See the HP StorageWorks HSG60 and HSG80
Array Controller and Array Controller Software Command Line Interface
Reference Guide included with this kit for configuration commands.
■ Access SWCC on a Windows NT server that is in the same SAN as your
NetWare server. To download the Windows kit, go to the following web site

■ Install HSG Element Manager. To learn more about this management

SWCC is no longer available on HBA 281540-B21 (3R-A3750-AA) with the
HSG80 Modular Storage RAID Array Solution Software Kit V8.8-1.
Solution Software V8.8-1 does not support HP StorageWorks 32-bit FC HBA
223180-B21 and HP StorageWorks 64-bit FC HBA 120186-B21 for NetWare
V6.5. These HBAs are still valid for Solution Software V8.7 on NetWare V4.2,
5.1, and 6.0. SWCC is supported on these HBAs.
