Configuring IP
Aliasing
If you have configured Internet protocol (IP) aliasing (multiple IP addresses) for an
NFS server, you must specify all of the servers IP addresses in the HP EFS WAN
Accelerator NFS protocol settings in order for NFS optimization to work properly.
To configure IP
aliasing on an HP EFS
WAN Accelerator
1. In the Management Console, navigate to the Setup : Optimization Service -
Protocol: NFS page.
2. Under Add New Server Configuration, in the Name box, type the name of the NFS
server.
3. In the Server IP box, type all of the IP addresses in the servers IP alias list.
Separate each IP address with a comma.
4. Click Add Server.
For additional information on the Management Console, see the HP Enterprise File
Services WAN Accelerator Management Console User Guide.
For information about IP aliasing, refer to your operating system documentation.
