Configuring Event Notification
This section describes how to set event notification. By default, events are reported
only to the HP EFS WAN Accelerator Manager. Follow the procedures in this section
to set email or Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) notification
parameters.

Setting Alarm
Parameters
You modify default parameters for alarms for the HP EFS WAN Accelerator Manager
in the Reports - Alarm Settings page.
Enabling this feature is optional.
When an alarm reaches the rising threshold, it is activated; it is reset when it reaches
the lowest or reset threshold. After an alarm is triggered, it is not triggered again until
it has fallen below the reset threshold.
To set alarm
parameters
1. Click the Setup Manager tab to expand the Setup Manager menu.
2. Click Reports in the left menu to display the Reports - Alarm Settings page.
