Setting the
Monitor User
Password
You set the HP EFS WAN Accelerator Manager monitor user password in the
Authentication - Monitor Password page.
A monitor user can view connected HP EFS WAN Accelerator Manager reports; a
monitor user cannot make configuration changes to the HP EFS WAN Accelerator
Manager.
To change the monitor
user password
1. Click the Setup Manager tab to expand the Setup Manager menu.
2. Click Authentication in the left menu to expand the Accounts menu.
3. Click Monitor Password to display the Authentication - Monitor Password page.

Change Password New Password. Type the new administrator password in the text box. The password must
have a minimum of 6 characters.
Confirm New Password. Retype the new administrator password in the text box.
