6. To save the settings permanently, click Save.
To revert to the running configuration, click Reset.
Setting SNMP
Parameters
You set SNMP parameters for a common profile in the Profile - SNMP Settings page.
Settings Report Events to SNMP Agent. Check this box to report activity to an SNMP agent.
Report Events via Email. Check this box to report events via email. Use the
Notification Recipients controls to specify email addresses.
Report Failures via Email. Check this box to report failures via email. Use the
Notification Recipients controls to specify email addresses.
SMTP Server. Type a valid SMTP server. External DNS and external access for SMTP
traffic is required for this feature to function.
SMTP Port. Type a port number for the SMTP server.
Update. Click Update to apply these settings to the specified working profile.
Notification Recipients Add-Recipients. Select Events or Failures from the drop-down list.
Email Address. Type an email address in the text box to which to send notification
messages.
Add. Click Add to add an address to the notification list.
Remove Selected Recipients. To remove an address, click the check box next to the
name and click Remove Selected Recipients.
