Character-based (CLI) Installation Procedure
Once you have executed the /cdrom/install.sh script, you are prompted with
the following questions in order to set up the SWCC Agent.
■ Enter the directory in which you plan on installation. (/opt/steam is the
default.)
■ Enter the Agent password. (It must be at least 6 characters.)
■ Confirm the password.
■ Enter the subsystem monitoring interval. (180 is the default.)
■ Enter an email address to record error notifications. (Your current account is
the default.)
■ Enter the port number for the spagent. (4999 is the default.)
■ Enter the port number for the spgui. (4998 is the default.)
■ Enter the SWCC Client name. (remote_client is the default.)
■ Select the Agent notification scheme for the Client. (You must select one.)
— No error notification
