RESUME=remote-node-name/target-unit-name

Starts a recovery procedure called mini-merge. If the target becomes

accessible, this switch enables the initiator to read the log disk and send the

write commands, in order, to the target, which brings the target into

congruency with the initiator.

A SET remote-copy-set-name command with the SUSPEND switch

specified must have been entered before entering a SET

remote-copy-set-name command with the RESUME switch specified.

SUSPEND=remote-node-name/target-unit-name

Allows suspension of write operations to the target so that the target can be

used for backup, and then remote copy functionality can be resumed.

This switch starts the logging of write operations. If the target becomes

accessible, entering a SET remote-copy-set-name command with the

RESUME switch specified enables the initiator to read the log disk and send

the write commands, in order, to the target, which brings the target into

congruency with the initiator.
