Verifying/Installing Required Versions
Note: HsxDisk refers to the Windows 2000 device driver. HszDisk refers to the
Windows NT device driver. Windows Server 2003 does not require this driver.
Before you run Disk Administrator or Disk Management, verify that Hsz/HsxDisk
recognizes the volumes that you created in the Fibre Channel as follows:
1. Open the Event Viewer in the Administrative Tools group.
2. Look for an entry for Hsz/HsxDisk in the Event Viewer window.
If an entry for Hsz/HsxDisk appears with 0 in the Event column, the
Hsz/HsxDisk loaded successfully and connected to at least one logical
volume.
If no entry for the Hsz/HsxDisk appears in the Event View window,
reinstall Hsz/HsxDisk and reboot.
If an entry for Hsz/HsxDisk appears with a 1 in the Event column,
Hsz/HsxDisk did not load because it did not find any logical drives.
Ensure that you have added logical units correctly.
