2. Restart the server.
Updating an Existing Standalone Server
Be sure you login to an account with administrator privileges.
1. Stop all applications that access storage.
2. Stop Steam Agent (SWCC) in Services.
3. Using the Add/Remove Program in Control Panel, uninstall:
a. StorageWorks Command Console (SWCC)
b. Large LUN Utility (if installed)
Note: Do not Restart the server at this time.
4. Using your Solution Software CD-ROM, click the Solution Software v8.8
for Windows NT/2000/Server 2003 link.
a. Click the Perform Multi Driver Install/Update link to install the HBA
driver.
b. Click the Run Fibre Channel Utility link, then choose one of the
Transparent Fibre Channel setups, based on your configuration.
c. Click the SWCC link (optional) to install SWCC components.
5. Restart the server.
Updating an Existing Cluster
Be sure you login to the server with no disk resources, using an account with
administrator privileges.
1. Using Cluster Administrator, make note of your original configuration, then
move disk resources to the other cluster node. The node being updated should
not have any disk resources online. Using Cluster Manager, set all Cluster
Groups to Prevent Failback while the upgrade is taking place.
