Assigning/Removing Drive Letters for Windows 2000 and
Windows Server 2003 (32-bit)
This section discusses assigning and de-assigning drive letters on your Windows
system.
Temporarily Removing Drive Letters on Windows 2000 or Windows
Server 2003 (32-bit)
Note: This section is required only when you have created NTFS partitions on your
Enterprise Storage RAID Array system before the installation of the HsxDisk driver.
Temporarily remove NTFS drive letter assignments for all partitions on the
Enterprise & Modular Storage RAID Array. Do not remove drive letters for any
drives that are not configured on your Enterprise & Modular Storage RAID Array
Fibre Channel system. To temporarily remove drive letter assignments, perform
the following procedure:
1. Start the Disk Management program.
