3 Installing P9000 Performance Advisor
This chapter describes the process of installing P9000 Performance Advisor on a management station.

Beginning the P9000 Performance Advisor installation
NOTE:
This section is also applicable for the upgrade process.
To begin the P9000 Performance Advisor installation:
1. Log on to your management station as an administrator (administrator:administrator).
2. Insert the P9000 Performance Advisor Installation disk 1 into the DVD drive. If the installation
wizard does not start automatically, run the PA_Server.exe file from the P9000 Performance
Advisor Installation disk 1.
Right-click the PA_Server.exe file and select Run as Administrator from the drop-down list, if
you are installing or upgrading P9000 Performance Advisor on a Windows management station,
where UAC is enabled.
