Adobe Flash Player and Flash Player Plugin, v10.0.0 or later are installed, but your IE browser is
configured for high security level.
If a port other than port 80 is used by P9000 Performance Advisor, that port number is not specified
in the http address used for launching P9000 Performance Advisor.
Resolution
The solution might be one or a combination of the following actions. Perform the steps listed for the
following actions to verify and complete the required procedures:
Start the HP StorageWorks P9000 Performance Advisor Tomcat service. For more information,
see Starting the HP StorageWorks P9000 Performance Advisor Tomcat service on page 141.
Add the URL that you are trying to access as a trusted web site for your web browser. For more
information, see Adding trusted web sites on page 142.
Configure your web browser not to use a proxy server for the IP address or fully qualified domain
names of the management station. For more information, see Configuring the web browser proxy
server settings on page 33.
If you have not cleared your web browser's cache, it is observed that the browser tries to access
the files from the cache. For more information, see Clearing web browser's cache on page 142.
Download Adobe Flash Player and Flash Player Plugin, v10.0.0 or later from the following location:
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/.
Modify your web browser's security and ActiveX settings. For more information, see Modifying
the web browser's security and ActiveX settings.
If P9000 Performance Advisor is using a port other than port 80, you must specify that port number
along with the server name or IP address in the http address format. For example: http://
[server name]:<port_no>/pa or http://[server name].[domain
name]:<port_no>/pa.
Log on to P9000 Performance Advisor and start collecting the configuration and performance data
for your XP and P9000 disk arrays. For more information, see Using P9000 Performance

Starting the HP StorageWorks P9000 Performance Advisor Tomcat service
After installing P9000 Performance Advisor, the HP StorageWorks P9000 Performance Advisor Tomcat
service might not start. It implies that you cannot launch P9000 Performance Advisor. This issue is
observed on Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise X64 Edition SP2 management station, where JRE
v1.6 is installed. However, the following services related to P9000 Performance Advisor will have
started on your management station:
HP StorageWorks P9000 Performance Advisor Monitor
HP StorageWorks P9000 Performance Advisor Security
HP StorageWorks P9000 Performance Advisor Database
HP StorageWorks P9000 Performance Advisor Database Listener
Resolution
Start the HP StorageWorks P9000 Performance Advisor Tomcat service by completing the following
steps:
1. Select Start > Run and type services.msc.
The Services dialog box appears.
