Determining the coexistence with other storage products
Supported coexistence configurations
A management station where P9000 Performance Advisor is installed supports one of the following
coexistence configurations:
• P9000 Performance Advisor + Command View Advanced Edition + Command View EVA
NOTE:
If you do not want both Command View Advanced Edition and Command View EVA to coexist
with P9000 Performance Advisor on the same management station, you can install either of them
to coexist with P9000 Performance Advisor based on your requirement.
• P9000 Performance Advisor + P9000 Performance Advisor Windows host agent
• P9000 Performance Advisor + HP Systems Insight Manager Agents (HP Insight Foundation Agents,
HP Insight Server Agents, HP Insight Storage Agents, HP ProLiant Remote Monitor Service, and
HP ProLiant System Shutdown Service)
• P9000 Performance Advisor + P9000 Performance Advisor Windows host agent + HP Systems
Insight Manager Agents (HP Insight Foundation Agents, HP Insight Server Agents, HP Insight
Storage Agents, HP ProLiant Remote Monitor Service, and HP ProLiant System Shutdown Service)
Unsupported coexistence configurations
The following coexistence configurations are not supported on a management station where P9000
Performance Advisor is installed:
• P9000 Performance Advisor + P9000 Performance Advisor Windows host agent + Command
View EVA
• P9000 Performance Advisor + P9000 Performance Advisor Windows host agent + Command
View AE
• P9000 Performance Advisor + Command View (legacy)
• P9000 Performance Advisor + HP Systems Insight Manager Server
• P9000 Performance Advisor + RAID Manager
• P9000 Performance Advisor + HP Storage Essentials
• Any other configuration that is not mentioned in the preceding ‘Supported coexistence configura-
tions’ list
For optimal performance, HP recommends that you install P9000 Performance Advisor as a standalone
